This chapter offers a life-history study of Nora Suwit, a Nora ritual master from Phatthalung province in southern Thailand, drawing on in-depth interviews and travel alongside him to trace how queer sensibility in Nora performance extends far beyond the stage. The chapter mobilizes the concept of "Camp" alongside Muñoz's notion of disidentification and queer aesthetics to show how his body continually negotiates between rigidity and softness, discipline and improvisation, inherited convention and emergent possibility. The author argues that this "queer plasticity," a yielding that never fully abandons form, is precisely what keeps Nora a living, adaptive tradition amid contemporary pressures. The chapter closes by identifying a "life-giving aesthetic" at the heart of Nora Suwit's practice, one that fuses faith, discipline, and care as they are transmitted from teacher to student across generations.
